I input one of my favorite stores in search and it said "nothing found" hmmm, I input another store and then another. My first thought was that they had closed down again due to the copy crap that took place last week. I then started seeing some IM activity from the club I often visit saying that the search was not working and they wanted a tp. Ahhhhh here we go again, first Wednesday was crazy with me nothing even being able to log in game for 2 hours now this bs on Thursday. I rolled my eyes pissed off that I could not go anywhere but HOME!!! OOOOO I thought why not do some inventory cleaning. As I got into my inventory I begin to regret the decision of a clean up. Hmmmm, I thought I could go to my landmarks and visit places I haven't in years. Mind you I have been in SL for 2 years, one of those years I had stop playing totally. When I first joined I lm every place I went too, no matter where it was. It was like taking a photo or a post card from every place you've been when your on vacation. So I worked my lm listing from the bottom and starting tping to places I have not seen in over a year. I hit up 20 places and only 4 were the original places that I had lm. So much about SL had changed when I first got there. I remember when I first landed in second life I was amazed at all that I saw. I came from TSO and then from There.com and there was so much to just soak in. When I first started children avies were few and far between. It was so rare to see them you would stop and stare and point at the tiny little darlings in sl. Now they are so many around that they blend in with everything else, same with Furries they were far and few in sl so you really didn't know that there was a whole world that had active furries. Truth is I didn't even know that their were real life people who function like this until I saw a episode of CSI in Vegas. Anyway, LOL getting back to what I was saying. So many of the places that I had landmark were now either for sales, grassy areas, private homes, mini malls or water. I had remember the year before I had purchase some cute little Christmas Trees from this garden place. The place was still there but the Trees either had not been put out or no longer exist. SL used to be so simple, people seem happier, more careful, more ready and willing to help you. Now it seems to be lot more confused, people who want everything and will do anything to get that. I did miss the place where I had viewed as my virtual new world. But there are a lot of things about SL that is wonderful too, and I do find myself enjoying the game a little more. A lot about sl has changed as I saw that when I went from lm to lm, but a lot about me has changed too. I am no longer the newbie who entered into this new world and didn't even know how to take a piece of clothing out of the box. I remember I had a pair of shoes that I had in the box for 3 months before I finally found out how to take them out of box, place them in my clothing inventory and wear them. WOW!!! Amazing isn't it, the other amazing part is how we are old timers have no patience for newbies. NONE!!! You wonder why the hell are they just not getting it. The truth is none of us just got it, and if your a newbie and you just go it chances are your ass has been here before and this is an alt or a brand new avie. Chances are the first is the answer LOL.

This looks like Fun

Ok the past few days I have been looking for places to put my clothing line. YES!! believe it or not I actually make a few pieces for my Licorice line, took the photos and package them. Making clothes is time consuming yes, however I love it so I am happy to do it. But the thing that drives me insane is the poses, taking photos and packing. Trying to get things together in real life so that 2007 brings about different and better stages. Being a designer in second life is not a easy venture and I have so much respect for those who keep it up. This time last year my clothing line "Pretty Pixels" was going very well. Things were better for me in my sl life, I had a home, a good relationship, friends, family the whole nine. In my rl however things were in a uproar, my relationship from my ex husband was causing me panic attacks and weekly trips seeing my Doctor. I develop high blood pressure, sleepless nights and even had the Doctor want to put me on some kind of depress medicals. However that I refuse to allow myself to go to that next step in my life. So here I am starting my second life anew and starting my clothing line again. I am excited this time around because I am really going to be able to do more then before because I am in a different situation over all. So here is to my new clothing line, new ventures and new life in sl.

It's not safe to go to me.com

Leesa a friend in sl is very very pretty in rl. Between things going on in game, my clothing designs (that I right now have a brain freeze on), and real life minor issues of doing overtime for 10 days straight I have not been able to do anything. So this weekend I will have a cup of coffee in hand along with a bagel with some butter and Grape Jelly and give you a update on things that has been going on in my sl world and the world of fashion at large in RL. Sooo much to talk about, sooo little time but we will play catch up this weekend. Ok something that I want to talk about now that could wait, but hell why let it. Those of you who read my blog now, as well as my earlier blogs KNOW I am a BIG FAN of Project Runway. Being a struggling virtual designer and once a designer in the world of There.com I have a love for fashion and a greater respect for those who are talented enough to have the skills to created in real life as well as in the world of second life. With that being said Project Runway has really open my eyes to some of the things that happen when you are trying to become a designer in real life. Believe it or not SL has the same bumps and hills to go over. OK with that being said my "HOW THE HELL THAT HAPPEN is directed at the winner of PJ. ie: HOW THE HELL DID JEFFREY WIN PROJECT RUNWAY!!!???!!! I keep rewinding, pausing, rewinding my DVR and trying to figure out what the hell happen and how he won. I must admit I thought his ass was a goner when the question of whether he used outside help for his clothing line was brought up. I am not a Jeffrey fan, however I didn't think he used any other help on his clothing. If you are a active watcher of the show you know that he probably was the only one who really gave more work to his line. I love my Michael, but when Michael first got home he wanted to enjoy his family and that he did. He admitted he was late working on his line (COME ON PEOPLE THIS IS A MAKE OR BREAK ISSUE). Uli to me is just plain lazy and I look at her style and think back when my grandmother would wear this moo moo or house dress around the house and how Uli mom must wore the same thing for her to come up with some of her fits. I mean sweetness your not the ONLY person your designing for you design for others too. What may work for your eyes may be an eye sore for others. But she was the one who stood toe to toe and side by side with Jeffrey at the end of the show to be the 2nd running up. As my friend Alliance "Six" would say "WHY SANTA WHY??" Laura had no real time because she has what 10 children and another red headed off spring on the way so with that being a issue I can see why she would be a little out of the loop. Why else would she bring up the fact she THOUGHT Jeffrey had help. I was rolling my eyes at her when she made assuming he cheated. Sometimes I think people don't realize how being jealous can be a real issue with how you do things and how you say things. Then Laura said and I wanted to slap her senseless " I didn't want to see Jeffrey not make it to the Olympic Fashion week" Laura you lying BITCH if that were the case why even say anything about his designs not being made by him, why walk outside and talk to Ted "the silver fox" Gun and make it a point of pointing it OUT. Someone call Laura a CLUE!! But all in all I guess I did want to see Michael win, not just because he is a cutie, and STRAIGHT! lol, but I think he is very talented and I love his designs and the fact that during the commerical break it had him with 37% of the votes and winning! I must not be the only person who believes in his talents. But as Hedi (I am Seal's woman) Klum says today your in tomorrow you could be OUT!! Your name as a designer is only as good as your last successful piece. Some designers can make BS and still have it purchase. (we will get more in detail of that this weekend kiddies). I wish I could buy one of Michaels Designs, if I had the money and could fit into the designs her made for his model LOL. But seriously I do hope to see something from him and do see him being a success in the months to come. I hope this will be a stepping stone for him for bigger and better things. But CONGRATS JEFFREY, I still don't know how the hell ya did it but this falls in my blog for "HOW THE HELL THAT HAPPEN??!!"

10 ways to get fired

10 Things That Will Get You Fired!!I logged into work and as always my msn.com came up and this was one of the brief Article and thought it would be an interesting read. Wonder how many of us are guilty some of the things listed below. READ ON...10 Things That Will Get You Fired By Laura Morsch, CareerBuilder.com writer After spending weeks -- or months -- diligently looking for the perfect job, the last thing you want is to be forced back onto the job market. A few wrong steps, however, and you might see a pink slip before a paycheck. If you want to guarantee your spot in the unemployment line, try some of these moves: 1. Don't bother learning what's expected of you.Sit down with your manager and make sure you understand exactly what your job entails, your deadlines and any relevant department policies. This eliminates ambiguity and ensures you'll know how your performance measures up. 2. Learn to say, "That's not part of my job description," and use it frequently.Everyone needs to set limits, but doing only the bare minimum sends a clear message that you're just interested in a regular paycheck. Sooner or later, your boss will start looking for someone willing to take more initiative. 3. Go shopping in the supply closet. While you're at it, run a few errands with the company car and pad your expense report. Stealing from the company is one of the best ways to guarantee your immediate dismissal. 4. Abuse company technology.Think your boss won't notice that you spend more time instant messaging your friends than you do working? Think again. Most companies monitor all their employees' e-mails and Internet usage -- and that includes what you do with your laptop after hours. Never use your company computer for anything illegal or X-rated. 5. Complain about your job to anyone who will listen.Whether your pay is too low, the work is drudgery or you think your boss is an idiot, be careful of who hears you complain. If it gets back to your boss, she may just put you out of your misery. 6. Forget teamwork -- look out for No. 1.No one wants to work with an arrogant employee who steals ideas or an egotistical worker who demeans others. Helping your co-workers doesn't make you a pushover, it makes you smart. Likeable employees move up the company ranks more quickly, and your colleagues will be more likely to help you find leads when you launch your next job search. 7. Bring your personal life to work. It's inevitable that personal business is going to pop up during work hours. But keep in mind that cubicles don't lend any privacy, so the whole office can hear -- and are distracted by -- you making that appointment with your waxer. Keep personal calls and errands to a minimum during work hours. 8. Consistently work "abbreviated" workdays.Want to show your boss how little you care about your job or career progress? Regularly come in late and leave early. After all, if you can't be trusted to show up on time, how can your boss trust you with more responsibility? 9. Treat deadlines more like guidelines. When you procrastinate, everyone suffers. Your missed deadlines reflect poorly on you and your boss, and they delay everyone else on the project, since they can't finish their work until you do yours. 10. Operate the gossip mill. While you can't avoid office gossip completely, don't get caught spreading it. Think about it: Do you really want hurtful or untrue rumors to be traced back to you? And remember: A few martinis are no excuse for getting loose-lipped.

These are a few pieces I have worked on

Clothing Line

Ok I finally am now getting things together. Working on my clothing line and really trying to get it out on or before the 28th of October. I want to have a store that has a lot going on it in.
